In short. If a link on links.bighelpers.in is malicious, illegal, infringes your rights, or breaks our rules, tell us. This page explains how to report it, what information to include, and how fast we respond. It is published as part of our due diligence as an intermediary under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.
Anyone can report content. This includes visitors, affected persons, rights holders, and government or law enforcement agencies. You do not need an account to file a report.
Send your report to our Grievance Officer using any of the channels below, or use the in-product "Report" option shown with each link.
To help us act quickly and fairly, please include:
We may ask for more information if a report is incomplete. Knowingly false or bad-faith reports may themselves lead to action.
We follow the timelines required by the IT Rules, 2021, and we act faster where we can.
| Stage | What we do | Timeline |
|---|---|---|
| Acknowledgement | We confirm we received your complaint and give it a reference number. | Within 24 hours |
| Resolution | We review and decide, then remove or disable content or explain why we did not, and update you. | Within 15 days |
| Non-consensual intimate or sexual content | On a valid complaint by or for the affected person, we remove or disable access. | Within 24 hours |
| Child sexual abuse material and certain unlawful content under court or government order | We disable access on priority. | As soon as possible, and within the period set by the order or the Rules (as fast as 36 hours for specified orders) |
| Active malware or phishing | We disable the link on detection or valid report. | On priority, typically within hours |
Timelines start when we receive a complete and valid report or a lawful order.
We review each valid report against our Terms of Service, our Acceptable Use Policy, and the law. We may disable a link, remove content, restrict or suspend an account, or take no action if the report is not valid. For court orders and directions from an authorised government agency, we act as required by law.
Where we remove or disable content, we will, where appropriate and lawful, inform the user who posted it and give the reason, so they can respond or appeal. We may skip prior notice when the law requires immediate action, or when notice would risk harm, evidence, or the safety of others.
If your content was removed and you believe this was a mistake, you may send a counter-notice to the Grievance Officer with your reasons and any evidence. We will review it. If you are not satisfied with the Grievance Officer's decision, you may escalate to the Grievance Appellate Committee constituted under the IT Rules, 2021, or pursue other remedies available in law.
We keep records of reports, actions taken, and relevant user and access information as required by law, and provide information to courts and authorised agencies on lawful request. Our handling of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy.
Accounts that repeatedly violate our policies will be suspended or terminated. We may block the creation of new accounts used to evade enforcement.
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version, with its "Last updated" date, is always posted here.
